THINK QUADCOPTERS ARE EXPENSIVE? THINK AGAIN….
I’ve been enjoying flying quadcopters recently. It gives me a chance to bond with my children. I used to think quadcopters are expensive until I learned that you can get really good ones for less than $50. Most of these cheap drones are also small enough to fit into the palm of your hand.
Don’t expect too much from these drones as these quadcopters have very basic features. You’ll be fortunate enough to find models with cameras.
Still, these are cameras which are ideal for beginner drone pilots like me.
Looking for a quadcopter that’s cheap and simple to fly? Here are my top five picks:
#5 ONECASE CHEERSON CX-10
It’s a small drone that can stay in the air for about six minutes. There are three speed modes to choose from, so you won’t likely get confused in controlling it. And there’s a LED light that makes this drone a sight to behold when flying at night.
#4 TEC BEAN X902
From afar, this drone can be mistaken for a black spider stalking a prey from mid-air. Aside from its good looks, I like that it has a pretty long flight time of 7 minutes when its battery is fully charged.
#3 HUBSAN X4 H107C
Simply called the Hubsan X4 this drone comes with a 0.3 megapixel camera. There’s a gyroscope system that keeps the camera steady while the drone is in flight. It is a good choice if you want to fly a drone and take some aerial photos, too.
#2 UFO 3000
It has cool LED flights that make it flying at night truly fun. I also love that it comes with an extra battery so you can extend its flight time to nearly 20 minutes.
#1 RC STUNT DRONE
It doesn’t have a camera unlike the Hubsan X4 but I am picking this drone because of its durability. It can survive numerous crashes which is likely to happen you are a novice pilot.
