I HATE IT WHEN I SPEND A LOT OF TIME LOOKING FOR FOOD IN THE FREEZER.
“It is one of my pet peeves.”
RUMMAGING THROUGH THE FREEZER IS NOT ONLY TIME-CONSUMING, IT ALSO WASTES ENERGY.
Freezer containers are not only for storing meat, fish, and other foods in the freezer. It can also be handy when storing leftover food. Or in storing make-ahead meals.
So just recently, I bought several freezer containers. You’d be surprised at the quality and prices of these containers:
REDITAINER EXTREME FREEZE
This is a freezer container that is typically used in restaurants. It is made from polypropylene plastic and can withstand temperatures of up to -40 degrees. Each container is around 4.5 inches tall with a 24-ounce capacity. You ca also opt for the set of containers with a smaller capacity of 10 ounces.
EVOLUTIONIZE HEALTHY MEAL PREP CONTAINERS
This set of 7 containers are washable and fully reusable. What I love about this containers is that you can easily stack them, which means you can save a lot of space in the freezer.
FRESHWARE MEAL PREP CONTAINERS
While the manufacturer markets these containers as lunch boxes for adults who want to control their food portions, these can also work as freezer containers. These are stackable and microwave oven-safe containers. The lids are clear thus you can easily see what is inside the container.
VREMI 18 PIECE GLASS FOOD STORAGE CONTAINERS
It may not be that cheap as the other products in this list, but it does come with 18 pieces in various sizes— small, medium and large. The rectangular-shaped containers have BPA-free lids ad air vents for microwave heating. These containers are dishwasher-safe. I love that the lids are brightly colored, too.
RUBBERMAID 42-PIECE CONTAINER SET
In my book, this is the best deal you can get for a set of freezer containers. It comes from a very reputable brand. And for a measly 20 bucks, you can get your hands on a 42-piece container set. The containers are square shaped so stacking them would be a breeze.
