I LOVE MY LAPTOP BECAUSE IT LETS ME WORK AND PLAY ANYWHERE.
BUT I HATE IT WHEN I GET NECK PAIN AFTER SPENDING HOURS IN FRONT OF MY LAPTOP.
The wife suggested that I buy a laptop stand. Paired with a Bluetooth keyboard, using a laptop stand is s one way to reduce neck and arm pain due to long hours of working in front of the laptop, she said.
It can also be useful when traveling, which we will be doing a lot this summer. Moreover, laptop stands can keep the laptop cool by delivering adequate cooling.
And so I shopped around for a good laptop stand. I considered factors like price, design, material used, and size.
Take a look at my short list so far:
RAIN DESIGN MSTAND
It’s a relatively cheap laptop stand made of aluminum. There is a hole where the wires can be hidden neatly. It elevates the laptop to about 6 inches off the ground to meet the user’s eye level, meaning there’s no need to hunch.
GRIFFIN ELEVATOR DESKTOP STAND
This laptop stand is compatible with most laptops, tablets and Macs. It can elevate a laptop to about 5.5 inches. It also keeps the device cool with its 360 degrees of air circulation. It is also ideal for travel because it disassembles pretty quickly.
DESK YORK PORTABLE TABLE
It’s another solid choice for people who don’t want to spend a ton of money for a laptop stand. It is assembly-free and thus can be used right out of the box. It is firm and sturdy thus you can expect your laptop to stay in place. The item rotates up to 360 degrees which is good for the laptop as air is circulated well.
This is a premium grade aluminum stand that is designed for laptops with screen size from 12 to 17 inches. It weighs just 5 ounces and measures 6.3 inches when folded. Because of its lightweight design, it is easy to carry in a bag. The laptop stand can also improve airflow to laptop computers.
PWR+ LAPTOP STAND
Finally, this versatile laptop stand can be used in different ways. It can be used as a tablet holder, writing desk, book tray, notebook stand, breakfast tray and cooling pad, among others. This stand is sturdy enough to hold a 17 inch laptop. The elevation level can be adjusted in numerous ways plus it is very lightweight at less than 4 ounces.
