WITH THE WORLD CUP IN FULL SWING, MY SON HAS BEEN MOTIVATED TO PLAY SOCCER.
IN ORDER TO GET STARTED, I GOT TO GIVE HIM A PAIR OF CLEATS.
Make no mistake about it— soccer cleats won’t make my son a great player. Yet a good pair can protect his feet, make himself more comfortable in the field and hopefully help improve his skills.
Like in choosing any type of footwear, the first consideration in choosing soccer cleats for kids is comfort. Simply put, if your kid is not comfortable with the cleats, then he or she won’t wear it.
Other factors to consider in choosing soccer cleats are durability, price, and design.
Here are the cleats I am considering getting for my son:

ADIDAS KIDS’ NEMEZIZ MESSI
It’s a lightweight and sleek pair of cleats designed for strikers like Messi. It has a textured design for superior traction. The laces are of the right size and stays tied. It also looks good, which is always a bonus.

ADIDAS KIDS’ PERFORMANCE X
These are lightweight and durable shoes. The ground outsole is very flexible and would let the players move freely on various surfaces, whether its natural grass or hard ground. The shoes are also made of synthetic material that can easily be wiped down with cloth for easy and quick cleaning.

This is one of the best soccer cleats on the market. It utilizes the patented laceless upper design of Adidas, providing comfort and convenience to its users. It is also very lightweight thanks to the Boost frame technology incorporated in it.

UNDER ARMOUR CF FORCE 3.0
It’s cheap but comes from a reputable brand. The CF Force 3.0 has a synthetic upper which is easy to clean and provides superior support. The outsole made of molded rubber also gives superior impact absorption and traction.

NIKE YOUTH MERCURIAL VICTORY VI NEYMAR FG CLEATS
This is what I’m considering for my son. I’ve always trusted Nike when it comes to footwear. Plus Neymar is his favorite player so you can’t blame me for choosing this one.
